alhambravillageone is a collaborative effort by both association members, and community professionals who have joined forces in order to provide the resources association members need in order to foster a powerful, knowledgeable, and engaged community. One that is equipped with the necessary tools to secure proper governance with transparency, efficient appropriation of funds, and trustworthy managment.

2021 was yet another year where Alhambra Village One residents endured challenges with maintenance, upkeep of the grounds, board meeting access (cancellation of clubhouse meetings) changes in attorney representation, non-evidence-based budget increases, and a whopping almost $80,000 special assessment, again with no specific allocation (against Florida Statute 718.112 5 (c) 1,) "Notice of any meeting in which regular or special assessments against unit owners are to be considered must specifically state that assessments will be considered and provide the estimated cost and description of the purposes for such assessments." We even witnessed unauthorized and unapproved expenditures, and there was even an unconfirmed report that a contracted vendor had to obtain a judgment for the freezing of an account to satisfy payment due for services rendered. All this is the result of poor management and a lack of fiduciary ethical standards of integrity. When does it end?
Finally, we have an opportunity to get things back on track, but, as has been the case for some time, our bylaws, articles of incorporation, and section 718 of the Florida Statutes "The Condominium Act," are not being adhered to. In a continued gross departure from regulated procedures, an attempt is being forced on the association to conduct an election that, according to Florida law, as well as our bylaws is not required. And the number of seats for board members is being limited although there has never been an amendment to our bylaws or articles of incorporation to alter the number of directors allowed to serve. AN ELECTION AT THIS TIME MAY BE FRAUDULENT. Meanwhile, we continue to incur liability to the detriment of our community and investment. It was recently discovered that Soaring Management is the property management company for Tymber Scan on The Lake.
